Milly Iatrou and R.A. Morgan have been making videos together since the 1980s when they collaborated on a series for the Artists’ Television Show, COMMUNICATIONS UPDATE a.k.a. CAST IRON TV.
Since then they have been working on a series of videos inspired by the work of 19th century poets and artists as well as video portraits of contemporary artists and writers. They are currently working on a series of scripted dramatic podcasts in collaboration with Darley Publishing.
Their work has been shown at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Whitney Museum, The World Wide Video Festival, L.A. Freewaves, The Mill Valley Film Festival, The American Museum of the Moving Image and The New Museum.
In addition to their video art work they have written, directed and edited a series of educational videos, which have been distributed through Teachers’ Discovery and Chip Taylor Communications.
Ms. Iatrou has been working as a motion picture and sound editor, since the eighties, on feature length motion pictures including films by Francis and Eleanor Coppola, Damien Chazelle, Pixar Animation and 20th Century Studios. The complete list is available on IMDb.
Mr. Morgan worked as a writer and editor on long form and short documentary films for the Annenberg Foundation’s Explore Project.
In 2014 Morgan created Darley Publishing, a publisher and distributor of digital multimedia books by artists and writers. He has written three novels, several collections of short stories and photographs and is currently producing and directing a series of scripted dramatic podcasts.
